"On the occasion of our 55th anniversary, we have redefined a 5-year strategy to bring us to 2022.
For this, we carried out a retrospective of our evolution and analyzed the reasons of our principal successes during this past half-century.
It has become clear that our history already contains the fundamental elements of our future evolution.
Indeed, my father began his activity in "start up" of the general mechanics in 1964!
He initiated the polyurethane molding activity for an invention of the time, the soft-shelled ski shoe that conformed to the skier's foot.
The adventure continued with a rapid development of plastics activities in parallel with the mechanical activity.
Today, our business is formed of three business areas: a bodywork division mainly for industrial vehicle manufacturing customers, an Elastomers division in the field of Industrial Processes and a Space Aerospace, Defense (ASD) division to which we have added railway activity for all our mechanical products.
Our commercial network has grown and now covers all of these 3 global markets.
This international proximity (production sites in Europe (France and Slovakia), Asia (China), America (Brazil) simplifies the action of our international customers who must adapt their industrial logic every day at a global level.
We therefore implement the most complex technologies (centered around polymers) and adapted organizations (Innovation, Labcenter, Design, International Supply Chain, etc.) to simplify the lives of our customers. This vocation, which has been in our genes for 55 years, fully defines our strategy for the future."
